Learn More
Trail Rambler enables users to plan and share their outdoor adventures, but it does more than that.
The site is an online community that not only enables, but encourages users to share information.
We're not just sharing data or files - we're sharing practical, real world knowledge and experience.
Experts can help beginners, and experienced enthusiasts can help others with similar experience.
We can all learn more. Get tips and advice, learn more about that place you've always wanted to go,
or discover a destination you've never heard of before. But most importantly, enjoy yourself, and
help others to enjoy themselves, too.
You can record every aspect of your trips for you and your friends to enjoy, and to share with others.
Give detailed descriptions of your trips including locations, dates, and events.
Include everyone that went along by adding them to the trips “Ramblers.” Each rambler included on a
trip has the ability to edit that trip so everyone can post their photos and stories in one spot.
If anyone on the trip isn't a Trail Rambler member yet, you can invite them by e-mail. As soon as
they join Trail Rambler, they will automatically be added to the trip.
Upload all your photos and add complete captions. Select and upload multiple photos
at a time instead of adding one by one.
Create detailed maps by drawing your trails and adding markers in aerial, topographic, or terrain
views. Our tools allow you to measure distance and see a current compass bearing so you know your
trails are accurate. Place markers by either clicking a spot on the map, or typing in specific
coordinates. You can even tag your pictures to specific locations by adding photos to your markers.

Create multiple maps for a single trip and give each a unique title. Multiple maps will be seen as
tabs when viewing the trip.
Simplify trip planning by creating gear and grocery lists and adding them to your posts. Other
ramblers going on the trip can accept responsibility for items by simply selecting their names
from a drop down menu.
